OJSC "NOVOSVERZHENSKY LESOZAVOD"

Today the main objective of the enterprise is provision of the market of the Republic of Belarus, in this connection the enterprise carries out:

• production of carving wood;
• production of decorative veneer;
• production of trimming goods (floorboard, covering, floor molding etc.);
• services on bucking and slicing of wood.

Monthly volumes amount to:

• Coniferous edge-surfaced carving wood– 395 m3
• Coniferous edge-unsurfaced carving wood– 563 m3
• Decorative veneer – 75 ths. m2
• Wooden sleeper – 429 m3

In 2009 the enterprise plans to start a milling-canting line of a German company «Simon Moehringer Engineering GmbH» with capacity of 80 ths. m3 of timber per year. It is planned to obtain 30 ths. m3 of edge-surfaced carving wood, 8 ths. m3 of planed timber and 23 ths. m3 of technological chip. These goods will be supplied to internal market and for export.
